The first step to achieving this is our Tenant Screening Selection Process - our first line of defence against potential problems.


1️⃣ Establish Clear Criteria: Before advertising your property, we define your tenant criteria, such as the number of tenants for the space, rental history, character and professional references, and pet policies. Having these guidelines in place helps us to filter out applicants who do not meet your standards.


2️⃣ Thorough Application Process: We require all prospective tenants to complete a rental application. This form requests personal information and proof of the tenant's identity, rental history, and consent for background and credit checks.


3️⃣Background and Credit Checks: Once we have consent we then run background and credit checks on all applicants, looking for any red flags like prior evictions or a history of unpaid debts. We check references by contacting previous landlords and personal referees provided by the applicants. This step can provide valuable insights into an applicants rental history and character.

4️⃣Interview Potential Tenants: Next, we schedule in-person or virtual interviews with applicants. This is an opportunity to get a sense of their personality, verify information on their application, and discuss expectations.
